The Winkler County Library is located in Kermit, Texas with one branch in Wink, Texas. The Winkler County Library provides free services to all residents living within the  state of Texas.

Winkler County Library

Winkler County Library provides patrons with the means to gain information and knowledge in a helpful, caring enviroment. The library attempts to select, preserve, and make available materials in a variety of  formats for the informational, educational, recreational, and cultural needs in an efficient and effective manner.

Library Objectives

1.  To serve the community as a center of reliable information.

2.  To support educational, civic, and cultural activitiesof groups and organizations.

3.  To provide opportunity and encouragement for children, young people, men and women to

      educate themselves continuously.

4.  To seek continually to identify community needs to provide programs to serve to meet such

      need and to cooperate with other organizations, agencies, and institutions that can provide

     programs or services to meet those needs.

5.   To provide opportunity for recreation through use of literature, films, videos and other  

       art forms.
